Digital Court Reporter

A Digital Court Reporter is required to be present in depositions and/or hearings in which an attorney desires to have live testimony captured via audio or video. They are responsible for setting up the audio and video equipment and recording the deposition, and have an understanding of the digital recording system and its maintenance, upkeep, and operation. Digital Court Reporters are also responsible for taking down notes during the proceedings and creating a log note of speaker identification and keywords, which serve as a general outline of the digital recording.

Interpreter
Verbatim Legal Solutions is in need of experienced interpreters of every language who want to join our growing network of legal professionals. Do you have at least one year of experience working as an Interpreter/translator? Do you enjoy what you do? Under general instruction, certified interpreters perform literal and general interpretation during live legal proceedings. Applicants must possess fluency in English and a foreign language, and the ability to interpret oral discussions clearly and accurately during live proceedings. Certified interpreters may also be called upon to provide sight translations of court exhibits (reading written texts and giving an oral translation of text).

Translators
Are you a certified translator? Our growing team is in search of experienced certified translators for every language. This position is responsible for communicating both oral and written text from one language to another in a variety of contexts to retain content, meaning, and feeling of the material.
Applicants must possess knowledge of: legal terminology, correct usage of grammar, spelling and punctuation of English and appropriate foreign language, ability to: speak, read and write fluently in English and appropriate foreign language, translate in English and appropriate foreign language accurately with attention to detail ensuring text is translated accurately and carefully not to edit, summarize, or add/omit meaning and/or context.

Transcription Specialist
The position of Transcription Specialist demands a candidate with versatility, exceptional organizational and communication skills, and an eye for detail. The preferred candidate should have a positive attitude, work well as part of a team, and manage work under pressure. They should also have the ability to comprehend complex concepts, exercise discretion, demonstrate independent judgment, and address issues professionally and promptly.

The primary responsibility of the Transcriptionist Specialist is to oversee the final stages of transcript creation. This includes proofreading, editing, formatting, and ensuring that the final transcript files are ready for production. They also have to monitor deadlines, update job notes, and certify the final transcript files.

Videographers
Verbatim Legal Solutions is looking for experienced legal videographers who can reliably and accurately capture video recordings of testimony during trial or depositions, in accordance with client needs and legal requirements.

Applicants must possess the ability to accurately and reliably record video of legal proceedings, edit videos as needed or requested by clients and provide high-quality video recordings of legal proceedings.
